Amelia Looper DVMDr. Looper is a 2018 graduate of the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up in southeast Houston but spent her childhood visiting her beloved grandparents in Montgomery! She is very grateful to live and practice in this beautiful area, and can often be found out in the woods hunting mushrooms or at the river rockhounding.
Dr. Looper particularly loves caring for patients who are “difficult” in the veterinary office, reducing stress for pets and their people and making customized plans for low stress handling. She is passionate about comprehensive care for our precious senior pets, and also sees small mammal and reptile patients on a case-by-case basis!
Outside of work, Dr. Looper loves to putter around in her native plant garden and lose herself in a good book (or three). She and her family travel to beautiful wild places whenever they can and get very animated about puns and wordplay. Her family currently includes one dog, six cats, and one ball python.
